Beauty

"Outer beauty attracts,  but inner beauty captivates "

Every woman is born beautiful and unique. Each of God's creation is a masterpiece.
Tall, short, fair, dusky, thin, well endowed, varied physical features- each one has a different blueprint.
That is your genetic makeup.
Does it really matter?

What you acquire are your skills, talent, compassion, moral values and aspirations.
You have the ability to love, procreate and nurture.

What is beauty?
1. A mother carrying her child for nine months with all the baggage that comes with it.
2.The scars sustained during pregnancy and childbirth.
3. The bosom when it latches the newborn to nurture him.
4.The smile on the face when greeting loved ones after a hard day of work.
5. The twinkle in the eyes on being appreciated for cooking a favorite meal for the family.
6.The soothing voice reassuring others in times of difficulty.
7.The sturdy shoulders bearing the weight of all responsibilities.
8.The wrinkles on the face and grays in  the hair exuding wisdom and experience.
9.The hardened skin of a manual laborer who toils to support her family.
And the list can go on and on .
Beauty lies in the strength with which a woman multitasks and runs her household along with her work with elan .
Beauty is in the effort  done to bring happiness  in lives of others.
We doctors are a blessed  with an additional  gift of the  "power to heal."
The housemaid is as beautiful as the beauty pageant winner.

The external appearance is but a window to a myriad sea of emotions , attributes and thoughts.
So don't be absorbed in vanity. It's absolutely  fine to not look perfect always.
Beauty lies in the imperfections.

Celebrate your uniqueness and contribute to making a positive difference in this world in your own special way!
